I can’t afford the suggested plans but I want to make a payment


We want to find a payment solution that’s manageable for you, alongside your other necessary spending. If you can’t afford any of the plans we’ve suggested, we can still help. 

We’ll just need a little more information from you about your financial situation. Here’s what to do if none of our payment options work for you.

Suggest your own payment plan amount


If our suggested plans aren’t going to work for you, suggest your own amount from your online account. 

Here’s what to do:

  1. Log in to your Ophelos account using your 6-digit reference code.
  2. Select the payment plan option.
  3. Select ‘I can’t afford any of these options’ below the suggested plans.
  4. Complete a quick budget assessment and input a suggested payment plan amount that you can afford.
  5. Complete your plan set-up and you’re good to go!


We’ll review your budget assessment to double-check that your plan is affordable for you. If we think you might struggle with the suggested amount, we’ll be in touch.

Covering your necessities should be your priority — if you can’t afford to pay anything right now, let us know immediately, so customer service team can: 

  • Give you breathing space, whilst you look for resources to help your situation.
  • Signpost you to any specific services.
  • Keep the company you owe up to date.
  • Discuss your options and find a solution that works for you.
